 Pat (Paddy) Casey

Silverheights, Silversprings, Cork / Mayfield, Cork

Lovingly remembering, Pat, an adored husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

His wife, Irene and his children, Nikola, Mark, Niamh and Brian would like to express our sincere gratitude to all who supported and sympathised with us on the very sad and sudden loss of our dearest Pat. Thank you to our extended families, friends, neighbours and colleagues for their love and support.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to all who visited our home, who telephoned, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes, food parcels, cards and messages of condolences. Every gesture was such a comfort at what was the hardest of times.

We would like to especially thank Pat's long-time GP, Dr Noel O Regan (retired), Meadow Park Surgery Ballyvolane, and more recently Dr Adham, Jaber for their kindness and care over the years. To Prof James Harty, Orthopaedic  Surgeon, CUH/SIVH and his team; thank you for keeping Pat on his feet all these years. To the staff of the General ICU, CUH,  who cared for Pat and us during his final days, we would like to express our deepest gratitude for the care he received. We would like to thank O'Connors Funer Directors for Fr Charlie Kiely, Parish Priest, Our Lady Crowned Church, Mayfield, for his kindenss and understanding as we sent Pat on his final journey.

And finally to anyone who helped in any way, your contribution has made our loss more bearable and for that we are forever grateful.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

May the roads rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
May the rains fall soft upon fields
 until we meet again
