Who passed away on 30th January 2025.

 

Patricia’s family; husband Paddy, daughters Meme, Siobhán (Barry), Paula, Donna(Brendan) and Claire (Brendan), son Gerard, grandchildren and sister Mena and brother-in-law Patsy would like to express their deepest gratitude to each and every person who supported and sympathised with them in their recent loss of their special and irreplaceable wife, mother, nanny, aunt and sister, Patricia.  

 

Our heartfelt thanks to those who attended the wake or funeral Mass, sent Mass cards, brought gifts, flowers and food to our home, online messages of condolences, phone calls and those who travelled long distances to attend the wake/funeral. Huge thanks also to our friends and neighbours and all those who helped in any way. Your help, support and reassurance has not gone unnoticed.  

 

We would especially like to thank Fr. Leo Creelman for celebrating Patricia’s funeral Mass, Michelle Treanor and the choir for their beautiful singing and the uilleann piper, Éamonn Corrain. A special thanks to Fr. Séan Moore and Fr. Hubert Martin for their prayers and words of comfort.  

 

Our sincere thanks and appreciation to Eamon Hughes and Martin McArdle of E.C. Hughes Funeral Undertakers, Middletown for their kindness, empathy and guidance as well as professionalism in carrying out the arrangements for the wake and the funeral. Their help and support was invaluable to us at this extremely heartbreaking time. Thanks also to the gravedigger, Damien Morgan, who prepared Patricia’s final resting place.  

 

A special mention of thanks to the staff of Cavan General Hospital particularly the kind and gentle nurses of Surgical 1 who cared for Patricia with love, compassion and dignity.  A heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Wilhelm and his palliative care team. We would also like to express our gratitude to the chaplain and priests who offered prayers, blessings and comfort to our family.

 

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we trust that you will accept this acknowledgment as a token of our deepest appreciation.  

 

Patricia’s Month Memory Mass will be celebrated in St. Patrick’s Church, Tyholland on Sunday 2nd March 2025 at 10.30 a.m.
