 Patricia (Patsy) Boyle
(née Cannon)

Arklow, Wicklow / Castlebar, Mayo

Patsy’s son Danny, daughter-in-law Isabel, grandsons Daniel, John & Patrick & all her family wish to express our most sincere gratitude for the sympathy & support shown to us throughout our recent sad loss.

Thank you to everyone who visited the Funeral home, attended Patsy’s Removal, Funeral Mass & burial, those who sent Mass cards & online messages of condolence, those who phoned or wrote with kind words & all those who couldn’t be present but joined in the celebration of her life via webcam. Thank you also to those who donated kindly to Wicklow Hospice in Patsy’s memory; https://olh.ie/donate/

Our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful team who assisted Patsy in the home she loved. The dignity & comfort you brought to her final months will never be forgotten. To the doctors and nurses of St. Vincents and St.Columcille's Hospital, the local Arklow Public Health Nurses, and to the fantastic caring staff of Caremark for the comfort & dignity they brought to Patsy over the past two years.

Thanks to the exceptional nurses from the Wicklow Hospice Team who made Patsy’s final days and hours at home so much easier. Thank you to Dr June Coates & the medical team at Arklow Medical Practice & to all the staff of Armstrong Life Pharmacy.

Very special thanks to Fr. David Brough for his prayers, guidance & lovely Funeral Mass & to Michael Flood & Bridget Kenny for such fabulous music. Thank you also to our extended family, mum’s kind neighbours & dear friends.

Thank you to the management & staff of the Arklow Bay Hotel for their hospitality after the Funeral, to Joe & Tom from R.S.S. for tending to the grave, and to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors, and in particular to Niamh Sweeney for her kindness, understanding & professionalism throughout.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Patsy’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 13th July, at 6.30pm in Saints Mary & Peter’s Church. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam;
