 Patrick (Audie) Walker

Church View, Arklow, Wicklow

Audie’s wife Nora, children Julie, Donna, Diane & Carl, brothers Andy, Maurice & Joe, sister Charlotte, his grandchildren, great-grandchildren & all his extended family wish to express their heartfelt thanks for the sympathy, condolences & support they received at the time of Audie’s sad passing & in the weeks since.

Thank you to family, neighbours & friends who were in a position to make a socially distant visit. Equally, thank you to those who couldn’t be present but sent beautiful cards, letters & touching online messages, to those who joined in Audie’s funeral Mass via the parish webcam & to those who paid their respects at the graveside.

Special thanks to the doctors, nurses & caring staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital who cared for Audie throughout his final weeks & to Dr Nick Buggle & his team at Sheltonville Surgery & the staff of Adrian Dunne Pharmacy for their great care & kindness throughout the years.

Our sincere thanks to Fr. David Brough for his prayers, comforting guidance & lovely funeral Mass, to Matt Sharpe & John Bonner for their accompaniment & to Audie’s truly talented grand-nephew Stephen Walker for such beautiful singing.

A huge thank you to Audie’s dear friend Peter Dempsey for releasing the doves at his graveside, such a thoughtful gesture.

Thanks also to Bill & Joe from R.S.S. for tending to the grave & all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.

As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Audie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 25th April at 11.30 in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church & those who wish are welcome to join via the Arklow Parish Webcam.
