First Anniversary

In loving memory of our adored Grandfather Patrick Brereton whose First Anniversary occurs on 29th of March 2025.

I look back in fondness every single day, all the joyful times we had.
No one else could be so special as my wonderful Grandad. 
You carried me as a child and held onto my hand. 
You nurtured and treasured me and taught me how to stand. 
You were like no one else, you really were the best. 
Even though this sadness aches it's time for you to rest. 
I want you to know Granda - although you're out of sight, I'll use the lessons that you taught me. 
Forever my guiding light.

It's been the hardest thing to lose you, you meant so much to me but you are in my heart Packi and that's where you'll always be.

I know that heaven called you but I wish you could have stayed. At least the memories I have of you they will never fade.

I did not want to lose you but you didn't go alone because a part of me went with you when Heaven called you home.

So just remember one thing - we are not apart. You're with me in my memories and in my broken heart.
