Patrick’s heartbroken wife Patricia, sons Matthew, Dylan, Patrick, Diarmuid, mother Susan, brother Damien, sisters Maud and Patricia, along with his extended family wish to express their heartfelt thanks for the kindness, love, sympathy, generosity and support we received during our recent bereavement.

 

To our kind and loyal family, friends and neighbours who during our darkest days and heartbreaking loss provided us with endless support.

 

To all Patrick Jnr’s team mates their families and all the coaching staff in the NI Powerchair Soccer Team.  Thank you very much for all your support and kindness given in the days when we were in Australia.

 

A special thanks to family and local business who provided beautiful dinners, refreshments and breakfast on the morning of the funeral to the family on our saddest days.  We wish to acknowledge the generosity of all those who helped in the house, with the milking and looking after the animals and those who assisted with traffic management.

 

To all who called to the house, travelled long distances, telephoned, sent condolence messages, Mass cards, sympathy letters, floral tributes and to the many people who attended the funeral Mass.

 

A sincere Thank You to Canon Michael Daly for the enormous support, home visits, prayers and for celebrating a beautiful funeral Mass. To Adrienne and Martin for the fitting music and hymns that accompanied the Mass. Our appreciation to the Sacristan and Eucharistic Ministers in attendance at the liturgy.

 

A heartfelt thanks to Padraig and Catriona Lonergan of Longeran Funeral Directors, Carrickmacross, for their exceptional and professional care, empathy, compassion and sensitive handling of all the arrangements for Patrick’s funeral.

 

We would like to take this opportunity to extend our thanks and appreciation to all who provided a guard of honour.  The grave diggers for preparing Patrick’s final resting place.

 

We also wish to thank the emergency services and Gardai.

 

To everyone who made donations to SOSAD, Monaghan for your generosity.

 

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our sincere appreciation, gratitude and thanks to everyone.

Patrick’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday, 17th November, at 7.00pm in St Patrick’s Church, Broomfield.
