Pat's wife and family would like to thank all those who sympathised and comforted us during Pat's short illness and sad loss. We greatly appreciate all who sent mass cards, who phoned and were with us during this sad time. We sincerely thank our family, friends and neighbours and all those who attended Pat's rosary and funeral. Thank you Fr. Sean for making Pat's mass so personal. Thank you to Joe Coughlan  and staff for the compassion  and professionalism shown to us. A special word of thanks to Professor Derek Power, Marymount Hospice and the nurse who attended Pat at home for looking after Pat with the utmost care and compassion. As it  would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a token of gratitude.

He closed his eyes, his journey done. His soul now rises with the sun. Though here on earth we feel his pain, we know our loss is Heaven's gain.
