Patrick Morey

 Patrick Morey

Blackpool, Cork

In tears we saw you sinking,
We watched you fade away,
Our hearts were almost broken,
You fought so hard to stay,
But when we saw you sleeping,
So peacefully free from pain,
We could not wish you back,
To suffer that again.

The family of the late Patrick Morey of Orchard Court, Blackpool who died on 3rd of February 2024 would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our great loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited our home, attended the Rosary, mass service and burial and who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time. For those who telephone, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences, as well we are truly grateful.

A special word of thanks to doctors, nurses and staff of St Josephs Ward St Finbarrs Hospital, special thanks to those who visited him in hospital, Barry for all his help during the few days, Adrian Kenny for his beautiful singing during the funeral mass, Norman for playing pipes at the graveside, O Connors Bros Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge, the beautiful funeral mass. To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

The First Anniversary Mass for Patrick will be held on 1st February at 4pm in Blackpool Church. All welcome.

Loved and always remembered by your heartbroken wife Margaret and Son Alan.
