As we approach his first anniversary, the family of the late Paddy Cronin, Strandsend, Caherciveen, would like to acknowledge all the people who sympathised, sent mass cards, text messages and RIP.ie condolences and those who brought refreshments to the house.
While it is impossible to acknowledge everyone individually, we would like to thank sincerely the following:
Neighbours and friends who stood out on the road as a mark of respect between Filemore and the Church and again between the Church and the graveyard. It was a very comforting sight.
A special thank you to Kerry Civil Defence and Valentia RNLI for their guard of honour at the church. To the staff and members of Caherciveen Credit Union and Iveragh Fisherman's Co-op. And staff and colleagues of Valentia Observatory.
Thank you to Fr Larry Kelly for his kindness and help throughout and for the lovely and thoughtful ceremony.
To Rosaleen and Peter for the beautiful music and song.
Thank you to Dr O'Shea and his team for all their care. Thank you to all the home helps who helped care for Paddy with a very special mention for Angela.
Thanks to Dan, Paudie and Marie Garvey and all at Garvey's funeral directors for their assistance and patience and care at a very difficult time.
A mass has been offered for all of your intentions.
Paddy's first anniversary mass will be held in The O'Connell Memorial Church, Caherciveen at 11.30am on Sunday, July 17th. https://www.churchservices.tv/cahersiveen
