 Patrick (Paddy) O'Donnell

Arklow, Wicklow

Paddy’s wife Margaret, sons Peter, Patrick & Anthony, daughter Christina & all his family wish to extend their most sincere thanks to each and every person who offered sympathy & support throughout their recent sad loss.

Thank you to those who visited our home, attended Paddy’s removal, funeral Mass & burial, to those who couldn’t be present but joined us on webcam, to those who sent Mass cards, made phone-calls or sent text messages & those who shared kind messages & happy memories online. Thanks also to those who donated generously to Wicklow Hospice in Paddy’s memory; https://olh.ie/donate/

Our heartfelt thanks to the team at Harbour Road Surgery, the management & staff of Adrian Dunne’s Pharmacy, to the nurses at Arklow Primary Care Centre & to the wonderful staff of Wicklow Hospice for the comfort & care they brought to Paddy’s final weeks.

Thank you to Fr Pádraig Ó’Cochláin for his prayers, guidance and beautiful funeral Mass & to Paddy’s dear friends from the Revival Gospel Choir & the Male Voice Choir for such wonderful music.

To our neighbours, colleagues & friends & to the countless friends Paddy made over the years, we thank you for so many years of companionship & comradery.

Thanks also to Joe & Tom from RSS for tending to the grave, to Peter Dempsey for releasing the doves at Paddy’s graveside, to the management & staff of the The Royal Hotel for their hospitality & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

Paddy’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 7th September at 6.30pm in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam:
