Pat’s wife Theresa, his children Fiona, Lorraine, Angela, Patrick, Róisín and Matthew and all his family would like to express their most sincere thanks for the sympathy and support shown to them throughout the time of Pat’s sad passing and during the weeks since.
Thank you to everyone who visited our home, to all those who attended Pat’s Removal, Funeral Mass and burial, to those who sent Mass cards, letters and texts, those who shared happy memories and messages of support online and to those who couldn’t be present but joined in the celebration of Pat’s Mass via webcam. Thanks also to those who donated generously to The Irish Cancer Society in Pat’s memory;
Our sincere thanks to Dr. Nick Buggle and all at Sheltonville Surgery and to Dr Fadalla, his team and all the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff of St Anne’s Day Ward at St. Vincent’s Hospital, who brought Pat such comfort throughout his illness. Thank you also to the drivers from the Irish Cancer Society and to the kind and helpful staff of Grants Pharmacy.
Special thanks to Fr. Martin Jose, Fr. Pádraig Ó’Cochláin and Fr. Charlie O’Gorman for their prayers, guidance and beautiful funeral Mass and to Megan Butler for such lovely music.
To our own extended families, our colleagues and friends and our wonderful neighbours, we thank you for your friendship, support and generosity. Thanks also to Pat’s friends from The Men’s Shed for their Guard of Honour.
Thank you to the management & staff of The Arklow Bay Hotel for their hospitality, to Jason & Tom for tending to the grave and to all at John Sweeney and Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to acknowledge our thanks individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Pat’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday 1st January at 10am in St.’s Mary and Peter’s Church. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam;
