The family of the late Patrick (Pat) Lynch wishes to thank the many people who helped and supported us during and following our sad loss.  We would like to acknowledge the many expressions of sympathy and gestures of kindness and support shown to us during this time.  We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many kind relatives, friends, neighbours, and everyone who attended the funeral home, the funeral mass and interment or watched the streamed service.

Our sincere thanks to those who travelled from far and near to attend at the funeral home and Pat’s funeral service, to all who phoned, sent mass cards, and messages of condolences.  Our special thanks to the kind neighbours who prepared Pats final resting place.  Our thanks to the nurses and staff of Cavan General Hospital and the Palliative Care team who kindly cared for Pat in his last few weeks.  A special thanks to Fr Gerry Kearns and Fr Kevin Fay for their prayers in the hospital and funeral home.

We offer our sincere appreciation and gratitude to Fr. Andrew Tully & Fr Pat Farrelly for the beautiful funeral service.  Thank you to Eddie Owens for the lovely singing & music during Mass.  A special word of appreciation to Brian Maguire and the members of the AOH who provided a respectful guard of honour for Pats final journey to the Church.

Thank you to Declan and the staff of Finnegans Funeral Home who carried out the funeral arrangements with such care, respect, and dignity throughout.  We would also like to sincerely thank, Seamus & Pauline Farrelly and the staff of The Lavey Inn.

As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Pat’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, 26th March, at 1pm in St. Dympna’s Church, Lower Lavey.
