Pat’s wife Betty, son John, daughter Linda & all our family wish to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who offered sympathy & support throughout our recent sad loss.
Thank you to everyone who visited the funeral home, attended Pat’s removal, funeral Mass & burial, sent Mass cards & floral tributes, letters & texts, those who shared happy memories & warm messages online, those who travelled long distances to offer comfort & support & those who couldn’t be present but joined us in the celebration of Pat’s life via webcam.
Our most sincere thanks to the doctors, nurses & carers who brought such dignity & care to Pat’s final years, allowing him to remain for so long in the home he loved.
To our extended family & our kind neighbours & friends, your support & compassion will never be forgotten.
Our thanks to Fr. Pádraig Ó’Cochláin for his prayers, comforting guidance & beautiful funeral service & to Michael Flood & Patricia Kavanagh for such fabulous music.
Thanks also to the management & staff of The Arklow Bay Hotel for their hospitality, to Joe & Tom from R.S.S. for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
Pat’s Months’ Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, 11th August, at 11.30am in Saints Mary & Peter’s Church. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam;
