His wife Carol, children Caroline, Brian and Brendan, grandchildren Luke, Mia and Louie, and the extended Mullane and Feeney families wish to thank most sincerely all who called to our home, attended his reposing and removal, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, letters, text messages, phone calls, online tributes and condolences, donations to S.H.O.U.T and the North West Hospice, brought food and helped out over the most difficult days of our lives it is very much appreciated.

 

To Fr. Noel Rooney we are grateful for the spiritual guidance, care and compassion you showed us. We wish to thank friends, kind neighbours, work colleagues and ex work colleagues of Pat’s at Sligo University Hospital and CIE / Irish Rail and also the Cartron View/ Point Residents Association for organising a guard of honour on the morning of his removal.

 

A special thank you to Seamus and Mary Feehily and their team for the dignity, care and kindness in organising Pat’s funeral and also to Lakeland Crematorium and Fr. Thomas Small for his kind words and prayers.

 

Finally, Pat’s cancer journey started on the 25th January 2017 and ended on his birthday the 19th August 2023. We will be forever grateful for the care, kindness, compassion and empathy shown to him and us his family. We would like to thank most sincerely all the staff he met along the way at Sligo University Hospital, Galway University Hospital, St. Luke’s / Beaumont, Public Health Nurses, Northwest Hospice Community Palliative Care team, the Mall Family Practice and Healthwise Pharmacy, God bless you all.

They simply mean we will love,

And miss Pat until we meet again.
