His wife Nellie and brother John, the extended Doherty and Dack families would like to express our deep gratitude to all who sympathised with them in their sad loss.  To those family and friends who  travelled long distances, called to  the house, attended the Wake, Rosary, and Funeral Mass, sent floral tributes, Mass cards and on line condolence messages; Our thanks to the Doctors, Nurses, Benny and the Palliative Care team at I.C.U. St. Lukes Hospital, Kilkenny who took such great care of Pat as he transitioned from this life; Our thanks also to Fr. Peter Muldowney, Fr. Martin Tobin and Fr. Dan Bollard who visited Pat in I..C.U.;We also extend our thanks to Pat's COPD Support Ireland family Kilkenny Branch and his COPD Support Ireland Sing Strong Family;These meet ups were some of the highlights of his week;  A special word of thanks to Fr. Dan Bollard who officiated at Pat's Funeral Mass;  To the Graiguenamanagh Brass Band for their beautiful music during the Mass and their final tribute Anchors Aweigh as Pat was leaving the Church; and Thomastown Men's Shed for their Guard of Honour; To Clyde Meyler Undertakers who looked after all the Funeral arrangements so professionally; We are bereft without Pat (Paddy) but will always cherish the gift of his life; The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions; Pat's (Paddy) 1st Anniversary Mass will be celebrated in The Church of the Assumption, Thomastown on Saturday 29th June at 10.30 a.m.
