SHIELDS, Patrick (Patsy) – Corrib Road. The family of the late Patrick Shields would like to thank our extended family, friends and neighbours for their kindness and support during Patrick’s illness and in the time since he left us on November 14th 2016.

We are truly grateful to the dedicated staff of St. James Hospital and to Susan Dowling and the staff at Mc Elroy’s Funeral home.

We greatly appreciate Fr. Gerry Kane for celebrating Patrick’s requiem Mass, and for the beautiful singing of Elaine and Barbara Galvin and of the choir of Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Harold’s Cross with John Egan, MD.

Thank you to all Patrick’s colleagues at Dublin City Council, and to all who donated to the Bone Marrow Leukemia Trust. Your prayers and thoughts have provided us with great comfort and no words can properly express our gratitude. A mass will be offered for all your intentions.

Patrick’s month’s mind will be held on Sunday, Jan 29th at 12 noon at The Church of Our Lady of the Rosary in Harold’s Cross.
