The wife & family of the late Patrick J (Paud) O’Brien wish to extend their sincere thanks to all those who offered condolences & support at the time of Paud’s sad passing.

Thank you to those who attended Paud’s removal, funeral Mass & burial, those who sent Mass cards & flowers, to all who couldn’t be present but kept us in their thoughts & prayers & to all who sent kind messages of sympathy.

Sincere thanks to Dr Buckley, Dr Boyle & the wonderful doctors & nurses of Our Lady’s Ward at St. Vincent’s Hospital, the caring staff of Asgard Lodge Nursing Home & to Dr Buggle, Dr Doyle & their colleagues at Sheltonville Surgery who cared for Paud during recent month’s & to carers Bernie, Sally, Marjorie, Catherine, Miriam & Fran who helped Maura care for Paud in comfort & dignity in the home he loved.

Heartfelt thanks to Fr Brian McKittrick for his prayers, guidance & beautiful funeral Mass & to our dear friend Bridget Kenny for playing such lovely music.

Heartfelt thanks to Declan, whose kindness, assistance & support brought such comfort to Paud throughout his final months & whose continued kindness to Maura is much appreciated.

Many thanks also to Jason & Will for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.

As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Paud’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, 18th October, at 10am in St. Joseph’s Church, Templerainey. Mass will be livestreamed via the parish webcam.
