Paddy’s sons and daughters, sons-in-law, daughter in law and extended Cahill and Cashin family would like to thank everyone who sympathised with them on their recent sad loss.

A sincere thanks to everyone who called to the house, attended the wake, attended the funeral and burial, sent floral tributes, phoned, sent messages of condolences, left messages of condolences on line and sent cards or letters.

A special thanks to Mrs. Mary Collier for reciting the Rosary.

A heartfelt thanks to all our neighbours and friends who left refreshments into the house during the wake and to those who helped to serve refreshments during the wake.

Thanks also to everyone who helped to manage parking and traffic during the wake.

We wish to thank the doctors and staff at Mountrath Health Centre for taking such good care of Paddy over the years. Thanks also to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Midlands Regional Hospital Portlaoise where he was a patient many times over the years and was always so well cared for. A huge thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Midlands Regional Hospital Tullamore who took such fantastic care of Paddy during the last four weeks of his life. A big thank you to Mary Dollard for all of her help and exceptional support.

A special word of thanks to Fr. Brian Griffin for the lovely Mass to celebrate Paddy’s life and thanks to Fr. Joe for co-celebrating the Mass. Thanks to Carmel Minogue for the lovely music during the Funeral Mass and to everyone who participated in the Mass. Thanks to Guilfoyle Funeral Undertakers for their support and professionalism. Thanks to the grave diggers for preparing Paddy’s final resting place.

Thanks to the members of Ballinakill Vintage & Classic Owners Club for arranging to have some vintage and classic cars at Paddy’s funeral mass and to anyone else who also brought along a classic or vintage car on the day. A lovely touch which he would have been so proud of. It was commented on by many and was greatly appreciated by us. 

Thanks to the management and staff of The Manor Hotel for the lovely meal served after the burial.

To those who helped or supported us in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the mass will also be offered for your intentions.

Paddy’s month’s mind Mass will be celebrated on Friday 06 January at 7.30pm in Camross.
