Paul Lalor

 Paul Lalor

Arklow, Wicklow / Dalkey, Dublin

Paul’s wife Amelia, sons Peter and Paul, his brothers, sisters and all his family would like to thank, most sincerely, all those who offered kindness, comfort and support throughout Paul’s funeral and during the time since.

Thank you to everyone who visited the funeral home, those who attended Paul’s removal, funeral Mass and burial, to all those who sent Mass cards, letters and texts and those who shared kind condolences and happy memories online. Thank you also to those who travelled long distances and to those who couldn’t be present but joined us in celebrating Paul’s funeral Mass on webcam. Thank you also to those who donated generously to The Alzheimer Society of Ireland in Paul’s memory;

Our heartfelt thanks to the kind and caring staff of Asgard Lodge Nursing Home, the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Vincent’s Hospital and the fabulous Palliative Care Team who were so good to Paul and his family throughout his final days.

A very special thank you to Fr. Pádraig Ó’Cochláin for his prayers and guidance and for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass, to Bridget Kenny for her organ accompaniment and to our own Joe Lalor - your wonderful singing meant so much to us all.

To our own extended families, our colleagues, neighbours and friends, we thank you for your continued support.

Thank you to the management and staff of The Arklow Bay Hotel for their hospitality, to Jason and Tom for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney and Sons Funeral Directors.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Paul’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 28th March at 6.30pm in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam;
