Paul Ryan late of The Forge, Caherline, Caherconlish, Pallasgreen and Cappamore, who passed away on the 29th April 2024, at the Galway Clinic.

Paul’s family would like to sincerely thank and appreciate all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad loss. Thanks especially for your telephone calls, sympathising online and through the post with mass cards, flowers, condolence messages, calling to our home, and so generously bringing food and refreshments. We appreciate all who attended Paul’s funeral on your bank holiday, especially those who came long distances.

A special thanks to the Doctors, Nurses and staff of the Galway Clinic who looked after dad so well for doing their very best with care and kindness during his stay with them, and for their kindness shown to his visiting family.

Special thanks to our brilliant neighbours for being there for us throughout, especially Tony, Liam and Martin for your support and kindness on many occasions. Thanks very much to Fr Roy Donovan, Fr Patrick Currivan and Fr Richard Browne for your support, and celebrating Paul’s beautiful Funeral Mass.

Thanks to all who helped prepare and participate in the service, the readers, and to Dermot Lyons for the wonderful music. Thanks to those who helped with the grave and cemetery, and to the staff of the Millennium for providing the welcome refreshments.

We thank and appreciate the care, guidance and professionalism shown by Conor and staff of Cross’s Funeral Directors. You really lifted a weight off our shoulders from start to finish.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation for the kindness and support shown to us. The holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for all your intentions. Paul’s Month’s Mind Mass will be held on Sunday 2nd June 24, at 10.30 in Arch-Bishop Dermot O’Hurley Church, Caherline.
