The family of the late Pauline Martin O’Rourke, Chapel Road, Clogherhead, who passed away peacefully on 9th June 2024 after an illness bravely borne, would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all who sympathised with us on our sad loss. We greatly appreciate the phone calls, messages, Mass Cards, letters, flowers and condolences on RIP.ie.
Our sincere thanks to the Doctors and the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital and the Oncology Unit for the wonderful care and kindness shown to Pauline during her illness. Thank you to Fr. Paul Byrne for such a lovely Mass. To Gerry, Robbie, Audrey and Joe for the beautiful music and our heartfelt thanks to Anthony for such a personal and fitting tribute to Pauline. Many thanks also to the Palliative Care Team that looked after Pauline at home. We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who came out to show their respect along the route from Pauline’s home to the Church, we were overwhelmed. To the G4MO of Dreadnots GFC, An Garda Síochána and Roscrea Hurling Club for their Guards of Honour.
Thank you to neighbours and friends who supported us by joining us in person or via the live streamed Mass, to pay tribute to Pauline. Thank you also to Townley Funeral Directors for their kind and professional assistance.
Pauline will be deeply and sadly missed and will always be remembered.
