The family of the late Peg McAuliffe of Ballygiblin, Cecilstown, Mallow, Co.Cork who died on 28th of April 2024,would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with us on our great loss.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited our home, attended the removal, funeral mass and burial to support us during that difficult time. For those who telephoned, travelled long distances, provided baking ,catering ,cards and messages of condolences, as well as those who made charitable donations to Marymount, we are truly grateful.
A special word of thanks to Dr.Donal O'Riordan and staff at Egmont Medical Centre, Kanturk, District nurses, Home Help office and carers, Bluebird Care and carers,Friends of Alzheimer Society of Ireland and private carers for the wonderful care, kindness and attention shown to our mother during the past number of years. We are extremely thankful too to Canon Toby Bluitt , Kanturk and Fr.Magner, the priests who called regularly to pray,administer the sacraments and who gave us all strength and spiritual support.
We would like to express our gratitude also to the funeral director Gerard O'Carroll for the professionalism and sensitivity shown to the family.Thanks to Peter O'Callaghan for organising the streaming of the funeral mass and to Neil Moylan, organist, for the music and beautiful singing at the funeral mass, to the sacristan and to Kathleen Moylan for including the Legion of Mary holy items in the service on the day of the funeral.Míle buíochas to everyone who participated in the funeral mass in any way.Thank you to Castlemagner Hall Committee and caretaker for the use of the hall and for helping us on the funeral day.
To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.
The First Anniversary Mass for our beloved mother Peg,will be held on Saturday night May 3rd 2025 at 7.30 pm in Castlemagner Church. All welcome.
