 Peter Kinsella

Knockenrahan, Arklow, Wicklow

Peter’s wife Eileen, sons Mark & Ian, daughter Niamh, sister, brothers and extended family wish to extend our heartfelt thanks for all the kind expressions of condolence and the exceptional support we received throughout the funeral and in the weeks since.

Our sincere thanks to all who visited the Funeral Home, attended Peter’s removal, funeral Mass, burial and to those who sent Mass cards and floral tributes. Equally, thank you to our many family and friends around the world, who couldn’t be present, but kept us in their thoughts & prayers and joined in the celebration of Peter’s life via the parish webcam.

A special thank you to the doctors and nurses, support and catering staff of Donal Hollywood Ward in St. James’s Hospital, especially Prof. Narayanasamy Ravi, Prof. Maeve Lowery and their teams, for the great care they gave to Peter.  Sincere thanks to Dr. Anthony Bentley, Dr. Barbara Dooley and Nurse Jane Deehan of Bradshaw’s Lane Surgery, Laura Armstrong, Niamh O’Donnell and all the staff at Armstrong Life Pharmacy.

To Deirdre Breslin and Aisling Byrne, who made it possible for Peter to spend his final weeks at home with his family, we thank you both from the bottom of our hearts, for going above and beyond the call of duty.

To Fr. Pádraig O’Cochláin and Fr. Michael Murtagh our heartfelt thanks for the spiritual care given to Peter while he was at home, also for the beautiful removal and funeral Mass.  To Jennifer Lee and Cór na hAbhann for the beautiful singing, music and Guard of Honour, especially “May it Be”, Peter would have loved it.

Thank you to Seán and Geraldine Condren of The Old Ship and the staff of The Red Café, for your generosity.

Thank you to Helena and her team at Hudson Funeral Directors, also Bill and Joe from R.S.S. for tending the grave.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Peter’s Months Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 10th October at 6.30pm in The Church of Saints Mary & Peter, those who cannot attend may join via the Arklow Parish Webcam.
