First Anniversary and Acknowledgment

Remembered with love Philip Graf, born Belfast 18 October 1946, who died peacefully surrounded by love & family at Toe Head, West Cork, 7 August 2024.

On the first anniversary of Philip’s death, his wife Kirstan, children Sinead, Bethan, Amy, and stepchildren Luca T. and Kira, along with their husbands, partners, and the grandchildren wish to thank everyone who cared and supported us before and during this last year.

Our heartfelt thanks to:

All who attended his wake and funeral and those from afar who let us know how important Philip was to them.

All involved in his last four years in small ways and large. He was blessed and knew that.

Special thanks to a team of wonderful carers during his last years: Rebecca Ryan, Margaret Newman, Gemma Hunt, Bridget Hourihan, Ellie Horgan, Julie Pinon, Emily Mahoney, Marie Chambers, Dee Hayes, Karen Keohane.

To the amazing stroke team at Bantry Hospital led by Dr. Brian Kerry, head nurse Kathleen Daly, nurse Deirdre, physiotherapist Erwin van Derluys, Speech & Language therapist Rosaleen Hurley. And gratitude for the care, kindness and humour of Dr. Don Creagh at Skibbereen Medical Centre

To our dear neighbours who minded us so well, and our beloved friend Nathalie Hourihan who spent hours on the road between Howth and Toe Head.

Rest in peace, Philip. We think of you often and miss you.
