First Anniversary

In loving memory of  my beautiful Mother and Nana Phil whose First anniversary occurs today September 2nd 2025.

 

It's been a short 12 months since i hugged you, told you i loved you and will see you later on that day, little did we know that God would call your name that evening, it breaks my heart that i wasn't there to hold your hand, to ease your passing, the only comfort i have is, that i know, your Mother, Father, sister Kathleen & brother David who you loved so dearly, would have been there with open arms to bring you home.

 

Now we say, night night Nana Phil when passing where you now lay, Josh & Beth both speak of you so lovingly and miss you every day, they have such beautiful memories of a Nana who took care of them as babies, loved and spoiled them at every visit, memories & legacy for all their days to come.

 

If Roses grow in Heaven,

Lord please pick a bunch for me, 

Place them in my Mother's arms 

and tell her they're from me.

Tell her i love her and miss her, 

and when she turns to smile, 

place a kiss upon her cheek

and hold her for a while.

Because remembering her is easy, 

I do it every day, 

but there's an ache within my heart

that will never go away.

An anniversary Mass will be held in St Oliver's Church, Dublin Hill at 9.15a.m. on Tuesday 2nd of Sept.
