Phyllis’ brothers Frank & Henry, sisters Elizabeth, Sarah (Sorcha) & Anne, her nephews, nieces & all her family wish to extend our warmest thanks for the kindness, sympathy & support we received throughout Phyllis’ funeral.
Thank you to everyone who visited the funeral home, attended Phyllis’ removal, funeral Mass & burial, sent Mass cards, letters & online messages, those who travelled long distances to offer comfort & support, those who couldn’t be present but joined in celebrating Phyllis’ life via webcam & those who donated generously to Arklow R.N.L.I. in Phyllis’ memory https://gofund.me/15cf816a.
To Phyllis’ dear friends from her many years at Arklow Shipping, we thank you for your presence & your lovely mark of respect.
Our most sincere thanks to Dr. Finbarr O’Leary, to the wonderful doctors, nurses & caring staff of Waterford Regional Hospital & most especially for Margaret & Linda who, together with Elizabeth, never left Phyllis’ side.
Special thanks to Fr. Pádraig Ó’Cochláin for his prayers, comforting guidance & beautiful funeral Mass & to Karla Tracey & John Bonner for such wonderful music.
Thanks also to Joe & Tom from RSS for tending to the grave, to Declan Kenny & staff at Arklow Gold Club for their hospitality after the funeral & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.
Phyllis’ Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 13th May at 6.30pm in St. Mary & Peter’s Church. Those who cannot attend are welcome to join via webcam
