First Anniversary
On the first Anniversary of Ray’s passing on 18th February, 2025 we, his family, his wife Claire, daughters Aoife, Niamh, Sorcha, sister Terry, brother Gary and their husbands, wives and partner, his grandchildren Conor, Dylan, Saoirse, Ava, Cillian and Mariella-Rae, would like to express our sincere gratitude to our families, extended family, nieces and nephews, in-laws, godchildren, many cousins, neighbours, friends and colleagues in Ireland, the UK and around the world for their sympathy and support. We are extremely grateful to all who travelled from near and far to attend Ray’s funeral in the UK and his Memorial Service in Galway, who called, sent messages and posted on RIP.ie. We are deeply appreciative of the generous donations made to Lymphoma Action UK and The Irish Cancer Society in Ray’s memory
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Sadness still comes over us.
Tears in silence often flow.
Memory keeps you ever near us.
Though you left us one year ago.
Forever in our hearts.
