First Anniversary

In loving memory of our beautiful, kind, loving and funny mother, Rhona Herlihy, whose first anniversary away from us occurs on the 18th July 2025.

Deeply loved, sadly missed and always remembered by her daughters Ciara and Lauren, their partners Jamie and James and her granddaughters Layla and Ayda.

 If sunflowers grow in heaven lord, please pick a bunch for me.

Place them in my mother's arms and tell her they're from me.

Tell her that I love and miss her and when she turns to smile,

Place a kiss upon her cheek, and hold her for a while.

Because remembering her is easy, I do it every day.

But there is an ache within my heart that will never go away.

The years may pass, but still you stay, as near and dear as yesterday.

Not a day goes by where you aren't at the centre of my thoughts. Even in the busiest moments, where the minutes slip away, a part of my mind is always with you, a part of my heart always longing for you.
