Acknowledgement

Richard Cahill

 Richard Cahill

Rathdowney, Laois

In loving memory of Richard Cahill whose 1st anniversary occurs on 6th November 2023.

The Cahill family would like to acknowledge and thank everyone who supported us after Richard’s sad passing. His death, a heartbreaking loss, was so sudden and unexpected and we want to express our deepest gratitude for the support we received from family, friends, neighbours, and colleagues. Even now as we approach his first anniversary we are still appreciative of the support we receive.

We would like to thank everybody most sincerely who sympathised with us, visited our home, attended the funeral home, funeral Mass and burial. We are very grateful for Mass cards, letters, messages of condolences and floral tributes that we received.

We would like to thank a few people that helped us during this very difficult period.

The Rathdowney Fire Brigade and National Ambulance Service for all their hard work. The Garda Siochana for their kindness and compassion. The late Kieran O’Sullivan and his team at O’Sullivan Undertakers. Fr Jackie Robinson for his prayers at the house and Fr Martin Delaney for residing over the Requiem Mass. Margaret and Teresa for their beautiful music and singing in the church and The Willow Tree Restaurant in Rathdowney Golf Club. We would also like to thank Rathdowney Errill GAA and Rathdowney Golf Club members who took part in Guards of Honor.

We can never thank everyone individually for everything they have done for our family but we hope they will accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Richard’s First Anniversary mass will take place in The Church of the Most Holy Trinity, Rathdowney, at 6pm, on Saturday 4th November.
