First Anniversary and Acknowledgement

As we lovingly remember Richie on his first anniversary which occcurs on 28th June 2023, we his family would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss. To those who attended his removal, funeral Mass, sent Mass cards and all online condolences, family friends, plus neighbours and former work colleagues, it gave us great comfort and meant so much to us.

Thank you to Fr Liam Hicki for a beautiful Mass and for the many times he called to see Richie in hospital and at home during his illness. (Go raibh mile maith agat)

To Michael Crotty and medical team and Leeview Pharmacy, Ballincollig, our heartful appreciation.

To Crowley’s funeral directors and all their staff for the professionalism, compassion and kindness.

Last but not least the Ear, Nose and Throat team in South Infirmary hospital Cork who were so kind and caring to Richie and were always on the end of the phone when we needed them. Thank You.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted as a token of our gratitude.

Perhaps you sent a lovely card

Or sat quietly in a chair

Perhaps you sent beautiful flowers

If so we saw them there

Perhaps you sent or spoke kind words

As any friend could say

Perhaps you were not there at all

Just taught of us that day

Whatever you did to console the heart

We thank you so much whatever the part.

 

Always remembered by his loving wife Marie, son Alan, daughters Mary and Aoife, 8 grandchildren and extended family.
