Betty, Paul, Brian, Alan, Dermot and the extended family of the late Richard Shanley wish to thank, most sincerely, all those who offered sympathy & support at the time of Dad’s passing and in the weeks since.

Thanks to all who joined in the celebration of Dad’s funeral Mass via the live-stream, to those who sent Mass cards, who took the time to send lovely letters & cards & share such nice thoughts, memories & expressions of condolence online.

To the amazing team at Lusk Community Unit, we cannot thank you enough for the care and attention shown to Dad over the last 3 years and particularly in his last few days. Thank you to Alzheimer’s Society Ireland and Marian Winters for the Skerries club, he loved his Wednesday morning chats and sing songs.

Special thanks to Fr James Daly (St. Patricks, Skerries) for your prayers, guidance & beautiful funeral Mass.

Many thanks also to Joe Lannon Funeral Directors, Skerries, for such kind & professional service and ensuring everything was organised to allow us to be there for Dad’s funeral.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.

Dad’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 14th February at 9.30m in St. Patricks Church Skerries and can be viewed online via the church webcam.
