Helene, Emma and Lisa, together with Richard’s parents Martin and Lena and sisters Janet and Mary would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their recent sad bereavement. Thank you to all those who visited our homes, attended the funeral home, requiem mass and burial, those who sent mass cards, text messages, sympathy cards, letters of sympathy, donations and those who left beautiful messages of condolences on rip.  

We acknowledge and will be forever grateful for the wonderful care and attention given to Richard by the doctors, nurses, carers and staff at Waterford University Hospital. We would like to especially thank the ambulance service and the gardai.

A very special thank you to Fr John Nolan and Fr Brian Whelan and all other Clergy for their prayerful support, thank you to Joanne Cooney and staff for their care and professionalism. 

We owe a debt of gratitude to all our great friends and neighbours who supported and helped us in every way possible, their outstanding kindness and generosity will always be remembered and appreciated. We received goodness and kindness from so many, it’s impossible to name everyone, but we as a family will be eternally grateful for your support and friendships. 

As we cannot thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our gratitude and appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Richard’s months mind mass will take place on Friday, 10th February 2023, at 7pm in The Star of The Sea Church, Duncannon.
