Who passed away peacefully on Wednesday 16th April 2025.

 

Richie’s wife Kate, sister Mary, brother Tom, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews and extended family wish to sincerely thank all who called to the house, telephoned, sent Mass cards, sympathy cards and left messages of condolence on RIP. Your kind and sincere offerings gave us great comfort at this difficult time.

 

Thank you to the friends and neighbours who without thought came and gave the family support during the difficult days following Richie’s passing.

 

We appreciate all those who attended Richie’s Reposal and Funeral Mass and to relatives and friends who travelled long distances to be with us.

 

We would like to sincerely thank Fr. Iomar Daniels and Fr. Raymond Sweeney for celebrating Richie’s life in a beautiful Requiem Mass.

 

Thanks to Madeline and Padraig Connaughton for providing beautiful music and singing during Richie’s Funeral Mass.

 

A sincere thanks to the gravediggers for the careful attention given to preparing Richie’s final resting place, our heartfelt gratitude always.

 

Thank you to the Meadow Court Hotel for the lovely meal following the Funeral.

 

Our sincere appreciation and gratitude to Sean Cleary and all the staff in Kilboy’s Funeral Directors for their professionalism, support and guidance throughout this difficult and sad time.

 

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as a token of our sincere appreciation. In gratitude a Mass of Thanksgiving will be offered for your intentions.

 

His hands are still, his labour done,

His peaceful rest at last begun.

In Heaven’s garden, calm and bright,

Richie’s Months Mind Mass will take place in St. Jarlath’s Church, Ballydugan on Sunday 1st June at 11am.
