The family of the late Rita Black, Pearse Park, Drogheda, who passed away peacefully on 19th August 2023, would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us on our loss. We greatly appreciate the calls, messages, Mass cards and condolences on RIP.ie.

Our sincere thanks to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital and the National Ambulance Service for the wonderful and valiant care and kindness shown to Rita.

Our heartfelt thanks to all the Homecare Team who looked after Rita so well at home. You made every day at home special and precious for her.

Thank you to Fr Des for the lovely Mass and Rosemary Hussey for the beautiful music.

Thank you to all of our family, neighbours and friends who supported us in both the days leading to and the day of the funeral. We were overwhelmed with kindness.

Rita will be deeply and sadly missed and will always be remembered.

As it is impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our heartfelt appreciation. The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

Rita’s Month's Mind Mass will be held on Sunday, 17th September, at 12pm in Our Lady of Lourdes Church.
