Ronan Connery

 Ronan Connery

Ballinspittle, Cork

Ronan’s parents Billy and Rita, his brother Tomás, and his girlfriend Fiona would like to express their sincere thanks to all who sympathised with us on the very sad loss of our beloved Ronan.

To all who attended the wake, Requiem Mass, and funeral; to Father Michael O’Mahony for the lovely and meaningful Mass he celebrated; and to the organist and soloist for the beautiful music provided — we offer our heartfelt gratitude.

Sincere thanks to all our family, dear friends, and neighbours who have shown us such kindness and support. To those who sent Mass cards, sympathy cards, floral tributes, and online meaningful condolences; to those who travelled long distances to be with us; to those who contributed charitable donations; and to all who called to the house with beautiful food — we are deeply grateful.

To all the doctors and nurses, especially Doctor Derek Power of the Mercy University Hospital Cork and Cork University Hospital, we extend our sincere thanks for the great care shown to Ronan. We also thank the doctors and staff of Market Place Surgery and Collins Pharmacy in Kinsale.

We wish to express particular thanks to Courcey Rovers GAA Club and De Courcey Golf Society, who formed a Guard of Honour for Ronan and who assisted with stewarding on the evening of the wake. Our thanks also go to all others who contributed in any way.

We are sincerely grateful to Gabriel & O’Donovan Funeral Directors, Kinsale, for their kindness, guidance, and professionalism with the funeral arrangements.

Finally, our heartfelt thanks to all our wonderful friends who continue to support us to this day.

Ronan’s First Anniversary Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, 23rd November, in the Holy Trinity Church, Ballinspittle, at 10.30am.

“His time amongst us was brief,

yet he lives forever in our hearts.
