Rose Grehan

 Rose Grehan
(née Craine)

Abbey Park & formerly of The Fishery, Arklow, Wicklow

Rose’s husband Seán, her children Elizabeth, Deirdre, John & Susan, her brothers Tom & Gerard & all her family wish to extend our most heartfelt thanks for the many expressions of sympathy & support we received at the time of Rose’s sad & sudden passing & throughout the weeks since.

Thank you to everyone who visited the funeral home, attended Rose's removal, funeral Mass & burial, sent Mass cards, letters & texts, those who shared happy memories & warm messages online, those who travelled long distances to offer comfort & support & all those who couldn’t be present but joined us in celebrating Rose’s life via webcam.

To our own extended families, our colleagues, neighbours & friends, we can never fully express how much comfort you continue to bring to us during this most difficult time. We cannot thank you enough.

Our most sincere thanks to the Arklow Community First Responders, the crew of Arklow Ambulance & the Arklow Gardaí whose skills, compassion & kindness brought us great comfort on the night Rose slipped away & we would like to thank all those who donated generously to Arklow Community First Responders in honour of Rose’s memory; https://gofund.me/562cff0d. Thanks also to Dr. Leonie Devereux & the team at Bradshaw’s Lane Surgery & the management & staff of Adrian Dunne Pharmacy for their assistance & care over the years.

Special thanks to Fr. David Brough for his comforting prayers, guidance & lovely funeral Mass & to Lucy Carolan & John Bonner for their beautiful music

Thanks also to the management & staff of The Arklow Bay Hotel for their hospitality, to Joe & Tom from R.S.S. for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.

As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for the intentions of all.

Rose’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Saturday 4th February at 6.30pm in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church & those who cannot attend are welcome to join via the church webcam
