Rowena’s mammy Sandra, daddy Damian, big sister Clodagh & all her family would like to express our most sincere thanks to each & every person who offered kindness, support & condolences throughout Rowena’s illness, at the time of her passing & during the weeks since.

Heartfelt thanks to those of you who visited us at Rowena’s grandparent’s home, to those who attended her funeral Mass & burial, sent Mass cards, letters & texts, to those who shared beautiful thoughts & memories online & to those who donated generously to St. John’s Ward at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital Crumlin www.olchc.ie in honour of our little lady.

To the wonderful doctors, nurses, caring staff & support team at St. John’s Ward and the P.I.C.U. O.L.C.H.C., we can never thank you enough for your tireless efforts in treating Rowena, for the dignity & care you brought to her & for the comfort this gave to all who love her most. Thank you also to Dr. Nick Buggle & all the team at Sheltonville Surgery & to Laura & her staff at Armstrong Life Pharmacy.

To our colleagues, neighbours & dearest friends, your continued kindness & support is much appreciated & will never be forgotten.

Thank you to Fr. Pádraig Ó’Cochláin for your prayers & guidance, to the sacristy team at St. David’s Church & to Bridget Kenny & our dear friend Stephen Walker whose music brought such beauty to Rowena’s Mass.

To Rowena’s classmates & many friends at Scoil Naomh Pádraig, Bearna Chlé, we thank you for your many cards, letters & beautiful gifts & for your Guard of Honour. Thank you also to the leaders from Arklow Girl Guides & Brigini for your lovely tribute.

Thanks to Joe O’Toole from R.S.S. for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.

While words can never truly describe our devastating loss, we hope that this acknowledgement will convey the immeasurable comfort your kindness, compassion & support has brought to us all.

Rowena’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 11th September at 10am in St. David’s Church, Johnstown.

Rest in peace Little Lady
