We offer our heartfelt thanks to our many friends, neighbours and relatives who provided emotional and practical support at this time.  For those who sent messages of condolences and cards, telephoned and sent floral tributes, we are forever grateful.

Our thanks to Fr. David Brough for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass, thank you to Stephen Walker and Rosarii Kinsella for their wonderful music.  Thank you to Fr. Padraig O’Cochláin for his spiritual support.

Thank you to all those who stood in support outside the church during the funeral Mass, and came to the graveyard.  We were truly overwhelmed to see all of the people who lined the route with the love, support and solidarity, it radiated out to us.  Thank you to all who joined us online for the funeral Mass, we appreciate that you would have been with us in person, if it had been possible.  Thank you to all who stood outside their homes and places of work, as the funeral cortege passed.  Thank you to Bill and Joe, who took such good care getting Sally’s final resting place ready.

Thank you to Andrea and all the staff at Asgard Lodge Nursing Home for taking such good care of Sally during her stay, for respite.

Our heartfelt thanks to Dr. Doyle and to Marjorie who gave Sally the comfort and dignity she deserved as she spent her final weeks at home, surrounded by the people she loved.

A special word of thanks to Helena and her team, at Hudson Funeral Directors, for their compassionate manner, professionalism and kindness in dealing with the funeral arrangements.

And finally, Sally our Queen Bee you were the centre of our lives, you were the most wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who filled all our lives with love.  We miss you so much.  It is a great comfort to know you are now watching over us all.  We will remember you as the loving, kind, caring, gentle soul, with the big heart, beautiful blue eyes, beautiful smile and hearty laugh.  Until we meet again, our loss is Heaven’s gain.  Thank you for all the love and care you showed to us all throughout your life on earth.

May your kind and gentle soul Rest in Peace, with your daughter Rosarie, your Mother and Father, brothers and sisters, Danny, Macca, Angela, Maureen, Doreen, Kathleen and Eilish.

To those who helped in anyway, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of deepest gratitude.
