Sadie’s brothers Robert & Willie, sisters Eileen, Margaret & Elizabeth, her nieces, nephews & all her family wish to sincerely thank everyone who offered sympathy & support throughout the time of Sadie’s sad passing.
Thank you to everyone who visited Sadie’s home, attended her removal, funeral Mass & burial, sent Mass cards, letters, texts & online condolences & to those who couldn’t be present but joined in the celebration of Sadie’s life via webcam. Thanks also to all those who donated generously to the Patient Fund at St. Colman’s in Sadie’s memory; https://gofund.me/db6dd61e
Very special thanks to the wonderful nurses & caring staff of St. Colman’s Residential Care Centre for the comfort & dignity they brought to Sadie’s final months. Thanks also to Dr. Nick Buggle & the team at Sheltonville Surgery & to the management & staff of Allcare Pharmacy for their care & assistance over the years.
Thanks to Fr. Pádraig Ó’Cochláin for his comforting prayers & lovely funeral Mass, to the sacristy team at St. David’s Church, to Patricia Kavanagh for her accompaniment & to Sadie’s pet, Lisa Merrigan, for her wonderful singing – she would have been delighted.
Thanks also to the teachers & students of St. Patrick’s National School for their respectful Guard of Honour, to Tommy & Tom from RSS for tending to the grave & to all at John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Sadie’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 28th April at 10am in St. David’s Church, Johnstown.
