The parents, children, siblings & extended family of the late Sarah Sweetman would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who helped & supported them in any way throughout Sarah’s illness, her funeral & in the time since. Thanks to all who visited Sarah’s home, attended her removal, funeral Mass & cremation service, sent Mass cards, phoned, wrote or travelled long distances & to all who donated generously to the Arklow Cancer Support Group in Sarah’s memory.
To Sarah’s friends, colleagues & former classmates who turned out in such numbers to sympathise & share many happy memories, we thank you for your kind words & for keeping Sarah’s memory in your hearts. To the staff of Wexford General Hospital who turned out in such numbers to provide Sarah with a Guard of Honour, we will never forget your touching display of friendship & respect.
Very special thanks to the doctors, nurses & carers of University Hospital Waterford for the compassion, dignity & care with which they treated Sarah & her family during her final weeks & to Mary & her entire team at the Arklow Cancer Support Group for their continued help & support.
Our sincere thanks to Fr David Brough for his comforting guidance & for celebrating such a beautiful funeral Mass & to Karla Tracey & Matt Sharpe for their wonderful music. Thanks also to Fr Joe Kennedy for his service at Mount Jerome.
We would also like to thank John Sweeney & Sons Funeral Directors for the care & compassion shown to Sarah & all our family throughout the funeral.
As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually, we trust that this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Sarah’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday 11th February at 11.30am in St.’s Mary & Peter’s Church, Arklow.
