Seamus’s wife Margaret and all his family would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for the overwhelming sympathy, support and love shown to us during our recent loss.
We are deeply thankful to all who called to the house, attended Seamus’s funeral Mass and cremation, and to those who phoned, sent messages, cards and letters of condolence — your kindness will never be forgotten. We also greatly appreciate the many generous donations made to Wicklow Hospice in Seamus’s memory.
Our sincere thanks to Dr. Bentley, the public health nurses and the palliative care team for the comfort and dignity you brought to Seamus’s final weeks.
Special thanks to Fr. Padraig and Pastor Solomon for your prayers and guidance, and to Fr. Martin for celebrating such a meaningful and heartfelt Mass. We are also grateful to Patricia and Michael for the beautiful music and singing.
A very special thank you to our neighbours and friends who took care of the catering, and to Donal Molloy and The Glenmalure Lodge for their generosity.
To the children and staff of Bearna Cle National School for providing such a respectful guard of honour, the church sacristans, the parking attendants at St. David’s, and the Curran family for facilitating parking in Kilcarra — thank you all.
To our work colleagues, neighbours and friends — your ongoing support and kindness mean more than words can express. We also extend our thanks to the management and staff of the Woodenbridge Hotel for their hospitality, and to Hudson Funeral Directors for their professionalism and care.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this acknowledgement will be accepted by all as a token of our sincere appreciation.
Seamus’s Month’s Mind Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, 20th July, at 10am in St. David’s Church, Johnstown.
