 Seamus Duff

Drogheda, Meath

The family of the late Seamus Duff of Painestown, Drogheda, Co. Meath, who passed away on November 7th 2021, would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us and supported us in our sad loss. We greatly appreciate the phone calls, messages, mass cards, flowers and the heartfelt condolences on rip.ie. Our sincere thanks to the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes hospital, especially the medical and palliative care teams for the wonderful care and kindness shown to Seamus during his illness.

Thank you to Father John Conlon for such a lovely funeral mass and to Andrea for the beautiful music. It was a very personal and fitting tribute. We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to all those who came out to show their respect at the funeral home, wake and funeral mass. A special thank you to the staff and students of St. Mary’s Diocesan school for organising the guard of honour outside the church. It was truly amazing and touching to see how much Seamus meant to the whole school community. Thank you to neighbours and friends who supported us through Dad’s illness and to those who joined us in person, or via the live streamed mass to pay tribute to Seamus.

Thank you to Townley’s funeral directors for all your support. Seamus will be deeply and sadly missed and will always be remembered. As it is impossible to thank everybody individually please accept this acknowledgment as an expression of our heartfelt appreciation. The holy sacrifice of the mass will be offered for your intentions.

Seamus’s month’s mind mass will be held on Sunday 12th of December at 10.30am in St. Mary’s Church Drogheda.
