We think of things you used to say, and all that you would do.
At some point, every single day, our thoughts will turn to you.
No matter how life changes, no matter what we do,
A special place within our hearts is always kept for you
On Sean’s first anniversary (18th January 2024), we the family of Sean wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all who offered condolences on the sudden loss of our beloved husband, father, father-in-law, godfather, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend.
We offer our heartfelt thanks to the extended family, relatives, good friends, neighbours, work colleagues, and well-wishers who visited our home, attended the funeral home in such large numbers, the mass service and cremation and who provided emotional and practical support for us at this difficult time.
To all who travelled long distances, those who sent floral tributes, sent mass cards, text messages and left condolences on RIP.ie as well as those who made charitable donations, we are truly grateful. A special thanks to those who brought food and refreshments to the house, especially Scally’s Supervalu, Blackrock.
Sincere appreciation to Brian O’Connor and the staff of Jerh O’Connor & Sons, Funeral Directors, for their kind, sensitive and professional handling of arrangements. Their guidance and support were a massive comfort to the family at this very difficult time.
We would like to thank Fr. Sean O’Sullivan for a beautiful mass service. Also, to the soloist singer, Bernadette Kiely, who sang so beautifully.
To many of Sean's work colleagues from Freefoam Plastics Ltd, who called to the house, attended the funeral home and mass service. It was very touching to see how well-respected Sean was by management and staff in his workplace. Also thanks to the management and staff at Morrison Island Campus for their practical help and support during this time.
To our great friends, you were all such a big part of Sean's life, and he would have been proud of the support that you provided to the family after his passing.
As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, we hope this will be accepted as a token of our sincere appreciation.
