 SEAN GALVIN

Blackrock, Cork

We, the family of the late Sean Galvin of Ballinure Rd, Blackrock, who peacefully passed away on 1st November 2022, would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation to everyone who offered their condolences. We offer our heartfelt thanks to the many relatives, friends, neighbours and well-wishers who visited our home, sent Mass cards, flowers, and left heartfelt messages on RIP.ie.

Our sincere thanks to the staff of the Mercy Hospital Cork for the wonderful care and kindness shown to us during Sean’s final days, especially Colm Murray and Laura Daly who treated Sean with such dignity, respect, and love. Your kindness will never be forgotten. Doctors and staff at Shandon Bells Medical Centre.

We would also like to express our gratitude to Theresa Culbert, Thelma Strickland, and Niamh Dilworth, who were an amazing help to us and Sean.

Thank you to Fr Michael Keohane for such a lovely Mass, Mary Fay for her guidance in organising the funeral Mass, and Caroline Fraher for the beautiful music. The mass was a personal and fitting tribute to Sean. Thank you to Forde's Funeral Directors for all the compassion and care given to us. Thank you also to the staff of the Blackrock Inn.

The First Anniversary Mass for Sean will be held on Sat., 28th October 2023, at Holy Cross Church, Mahon, at 6 pm. All are welcome.

As it is impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our heartfelt appreciation.

"In life, we loved you dearly. In death, we love you still.
In our hearts, you hold a place that no one could ever fill.
It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn't go alone,
for a part of us went with you the day God took you home."
