The family of the late Sean Kelly, Ashfield Grove, Drogheda, who passed away on the 16th of May 2024, would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss.  We greatly appreciate the phone calls, messages, Mass cards, letters, flowers and condolences on rip.ie. 

Our heartfelt thanks to the nurses on the sixth floor east at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital who cared for Sean in the last eight weeks of his life, the dedication and commitment of care was amazing, we will be forever grateful.  If we had the power to award you with the highest honour of service, you all would receive the award. To the tea ladies and gentleman who provided him with many cups of tea at Our Lady of Lourdes, thank you, we are so grateful. Thank you to Fr John McAlinden for a lovely Mass, Timmy Goggin for the beautiful music and to Townley Funeral Directors.

Sean will be sadly missed and always remembered with great memories.

The Month's Mind Mass will be held on the 16th June 2024 at 12 noon in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, which is Father’s Day, a fitting day for a truly wonderful Dad and husband of 64 years marriage xxx
