The family of the late Sean Matthews (Mossy), of 35 O’Donnell Park, Clogherhead, who passed away peacefully on the 19th of September, would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to all those who sympathised with us on our sad loss. We greatly appreciate the phone calls, messages, mass cards, letters, flowers and condolences on rip.ie.  Our sincere thanks to Doctor Daly and the staff of the Oncology Unit for the wonderful care and kindness shown to Sean during his illness.

Thank you to Fr. Paul Byrne for such a lovely mass, Declan Dunne for the beautiful music. Many thanks to the palliative care team who supported us in looking after Sean at home and our heartfelt thanks to Declan and the team at Corrs Pharmacy Clogherhead who were a great support throughout. Thank you to our neighbours, friends and colleagues who supported us, by joining us in person or via the live streamed mass, to pay tribute to Sean. We would also like to express our heartfelt thanks to all of those who came out to show their respect along the route from St Michael's Church to St. Denis’s Cemetery. Thank you to P. Townley & Sons Funeral Directors for the support and guidance throughout.

Sean will be deeply and sadly missed and will always be remembered. As it is impossible to thank everybody individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our heartfelt appreciation. The Holy sacrifice of the Mass will be held for your intentions.
