1st Anniversary and Acknowledgement

In loving memory of our dear loving Son and Brother, Sean who passed away peacefully in his loving Dad’s arms at the Puffin ward in the CUH.

Sean’s Dad Brendan, Sisters Denise and Sinead and Brother Mark would like to express our sincere gratitude to all who supported and sympathised with us on our very sad and heartbreaking loss of our dearest Sean. Thank you to our extended families, friends, neighbours and colleagues for your love and support.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to all who visited our home, telephoned, travelled long distances, sent floral tributes and messages of condolences. Every gesture was such a comfort at what was the hardest of times.

We would like to especially thank Dr Finn and all his team who gave Sean the tremendous and professional care in the Puffin Ward at the CUH, to Garda Jimmy Smiddy and his colleagues at Blackrock Garda Station who encircled Sean in their lives by making him Honorary Garda 129 and for their ongoing support to the family. To his godmother Christine and her family who helped us in so many ways, to Gillian and staff at Skehaed Pharmacy, to Jerh O’Connor Funeral Directors Temple Hill and Fr JP Riordan for his lovely mass.

To the staff, pupils, bus drivers and escorts especially Phil where Sean spent 7 great years attending St Paul’s School in Montenotte.

And finally to anyone who helped in any way your contribution has made our loss more bearable and for that we are very grateful. As it would be impossible to thank everybody individually please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The holy sacrifice of mass will be offered for your intentions.

Sean’s 1st Anniversary mass is on Saturday 12th November at 6pm in St  Michael’s Church, Blackrock and is also available on the church webcam for those who cannot attend.
