As we lovingly remember Babs on her first anniversary, her niece Maura, her nephews Michael, Donal and Billy, together with our families, wish to express our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude to all those who sympathised with us and supported us on the sad passing of Babs.

Thanks to all our extended families, wonderful neighbours, relations and friends; to all who travelled to attend the visitation in her home and funeral mass; and to all those who sent mass cards, enrolments and expressed their condolences.

A heartfelt thank you to all who cared for Babs. A special thank you to Julie, Joe and all the team at Grange Con Nursing Home for the excellent, loving care and attention she received during her time there. Thanks to all her friends who so kindly visited her in Grange Con and helped to brighten her day.

Thanks also to Dr. Andrew Lyne, Tower Medical Centre who gave Babs such exceptional care and to Cloghroe Pharmacy for their help and support. Thanks to Fitz-Gerald's Funeral Directors for their professionalism throughout.

Sincere thanks to Fr Micheál Ó Loingsigh for celebrating a beautiful mass; Fr Michael Kelleher for reciting the rosary on the night of the visitation at her home; sacristan Ann; and all who participated to help make the ceremony a memorable one. A special thank you to Kilmurry Church Choir and organist Mary for the beautiful singing and music throughout the mass.

Thank you to Kilmurry GAA for organising the parking both on the night of the visitation and at the funeral mass. Thank you to Kilmurry Museum and all those who helped with the catering on the day. It was very much appreciated.

As it is not possible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our sincere appreciation and gratitude. Your kindness, compassion and support will not be forgotten. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

 

She was an Auntie so truly rare

Thoughtful and loving and full of care

Sadly no longer in our lives to share

But in our hearts you are always there
