 Sheila Buckley

Gurranes, Templemartin, Cork

The family of the late Sheila Buckley of Gurranes, Templemartin, who died on 18th November 2020, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their great loss.

We offer our heartfelt thanks to our kind neighbours, relatives and many friends for the valued help and assistance and to those who visited our home, attended the funeral Mass and graveyard in person or watched it online. For those who telephoned, sent floral tributes, cards and messages of condolences, as well as those who made charitable donations, we are truly grateful.

A special thank you to all who cared for Sheila during her illness, especially to Dr. Ann Nicholson and staff of Ovens-Ballincollig Medical Centre.  We would like to thank the staff at the Old Quarter Pharmacy Ballincollig, the staff at Marymount Hospice Home Care Team and Dr. Conleth Murphy and staff on St. Bernadette's ward, Bon Secours Hospital.  A special word of thanks to Fr. Christy Fitzgerald and Deacon John Guiry for their visits to Sheila and to Fr. Bernard Cotter for celebrating Sheila's Funeral Mass.  A special thank you to Aileen Bradfield and Siobhan Collins for their beautiful singing, Conor McSweeney for streaming the Mass online and to everyone who lined the roads paying tribute to Sheila on her final journey.  Finally, thank you to Gabriel O'Donovan Funeral Directors for their sensitive professional handling of the funeral arrangements.

To those who helped in any way, your contribution made our loss more bearable. As it would be impossible to thank everyone individually, please accept this acknowledgement as an expression of our deepest gratitude. The Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered for your intentions.

The First Anniversary Mass for Sheila will be held on Saturday, 20th November, at 12 midday in St. Martin's Church, Farnivane.
