The family of the late Stephen (Stevo) Kirk-Woods, of 5 Cúirt Droim Ard, Convent Lands, Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan, who died on the 13th October 2023, would like to thank most sincerely all those who sympathised with them on their immense loss and are deeply grateful for the kindness and compassion you extended to our family during this difficult time.

We would like to say a special thank you to the wonderful staff at both Beaumont Hospital and Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, for the excellent care they gave Stevo throughout the course of his treatment.

To the Palliative Care Team, the Carers Team and Carrick Cancer; your support and kindness during this difficult time was a great source of comfort. Thank you sincerely for all that you done for us in our time of need.

We are truly grateful to our neighbors and all the people of Carrickmacross and surrounding areas that donated and fundraised for Stevo’s treatment. Words cannot express how much we thank you for your help and support. A thank you also to the people and businesses who provided food, goods and services to us. Your kindness and thoughtfulness will always remain in our memories.

Thanks to  Mgr Shane Mc Caughey, who celebrated the funeral Mass and Rite of Burial. Our appreciation to the Sacristans and Eucharistic Ministers in attendance at the liturgy. Thank you to Liebe, Patrice and Louise also for the beautiful music. We would also like to thank Deery’s Funeral Directors for their professionalism and kindness at this time. 

Stevo and us were shown so much support that it is impossible to thank everyone personally; please know that we are eternally grateful to each and everyone of you.

Stevo’s Months Memory Mass will be held in St. Joseph’s Church, Carrickmacross,

on Saturday, 11th November 2023, at 6pm.
